3 rookies to keep an eye on during the HOF Game

The Las Vegas Raiders are getting ready to open the ’22 preseason as they prepare to play against the Jaguars. Which rookies have the most to gain in this contest, or the most to lose?

It’s game day, Raider Nation.

If you’re a coach, you’re excited to see the team you’re fielding in 2022. If you’re a player, you can’t wait to get back on the field and play football. For everyone else, we’re simply excited that Raiders’ football is finally back.

While many guaranteed starters are sitting out tonight, there will still be plenty of players fighting for [starting] jobs taking the field against Jacksonville. Players such as Alex Leatherwood, who earned the right tackle job in the first preseason game, will take center stage during this contest. That said, there are still a lot of Raiders that all eyes will be on in tonight’s game.

Among those players are rookies fighting for big roles with the team, as they look to prove they’re ready to make an immediate impact with the Silver and Black.

With that in mind, let’s discuss three rookies who have the Raiders’ full attention in Canton as the team heads into their first scrimmage contest.
